Job: Advertising system

Hey,

We are looking for someone to develop an interactive advertising space rental system for us, primarily involving an extension of the cDecals script, which can display images from Imgur. Here are our requirements:

1. Advertising Space Rental System:

• Players can rent advertising spaces in the game.
• Display is done via decals in combination with the advertising space prop, which is already known from the mayor's laws.
• Decals have a fixed size.
• These decals must be distinctly different from the "normal" decals. The value must also be persistent (using a NetworkVar is probably the best option).

1. Time and Cost Regulations:

• 1,500 Credits per day booking.
• Minimum booking of 3 days, maximum of 14 days.
• After booking, the corresponding amount of credits is deducted (Note: Ensure that the user actually possesses this amount).

1. Design and Guidelines for Advertising Decals:

• In the menu where everything is set up, a text with the following rules should be displayed:
• No sexual, racist, or inappropriate content.
• No political or polarizing topics.
• Swear words and insults are appropriately allowed.

1. Advertising Management:

• A maximum of 5 advertising slots can be allocated to users in the system.
• Every 60 seconds, the image on all advertising spaces changes.
• Special slots are reserved for server advertising or the display of players.

1. Sales Process and User Interface:

• A server method with a player as an argument should be used to call the configuration interface.
• The menu will later be launched by our shop system, where the server method will be called.

1. Interface Requirements:

• Ability to set how many days the advertising space should be booked.
• An input field for an Imgur link.
• If there are not enough credits available, booking is not possible (visually indicated).
• Booking button.
• Text field with guidelines.
• Text field showing how many slots are still available.
• The design does not need to be elaborate, as the focus is on functionality. Therefore, the window should not require too much work.

1. Enhanced Display of Advertising Spaces:

• Sometimes advertising from the server or special players on the server is also displayed.
• The server identifies a notable player based on metrics and displays them (similar to EA's Apex game).
• However, it can also be displayed by acquiring a special item in the shop (we use VoidCases).

Additional Requirements:

• Player Reward System: Integration of a system where the player receives a small amount of money when they are on the server and own an advertising space. The money is credited to the user at regular intervals. This is a fun feature, so the amount of money is low.
• Slot Management: There must be a method or global variable to determine the number of occupied advertising slots and the maximum number of advertising slots.
• Violation Management: Ability to remove an advertisement from the system if it violates the guidelines. Please develop a console function for this.
