I am seeking a skilled coder to take on a moderately complex project: creating a robust inventory system accessible via the F4 menu. Below is a list of the core features we would like implemented:


Inventory Features:

  • Players can pick up and store items in their inventory.
  • Items purchased from the in-game entities shop will automatically appear in the inventory.
  • Each item can have a custom icon or 3D model for unique visual representation.
  • Items must have an associated weight value to factor into gameplay mechanics.
  • Players can purchase and equip bags/backpacks, which will be placed in a drag-and-drop slot.
  • Equipped bags will be displayed on the player through a 3D model visualization.
  • The inventory should feature a grid-based system, where items can take up different slot sizes (e.g., 5x5, 2x2, 3x4, etc.).

Character & Equipment Tab:

  • A dedicated Character & Equipment tab will allow players to equip cosmetic items and weapons.
  • Equipped cosmetics (e.g., hats, masks, clothing items, accessories) will be visually displayed on the character model.
  • Players can equip and unequip weapons, ensuring they are ready for combat.
  • This tab will feature a 3D preview of the player model, dynamically updating as items are equipped or removed.
  • The system should support drag-and-drop equipping for an intuitive user experience.

Trading System:

  • Players can initiate a secure trading menu with others by using the /trade command.
  • The trade interface should allow both players to view each other's offered items before confirming.
  • Both parties must confirm the trade before completing the transaction to prevent scams.
  • Items should automatically transfer between inventories once the trade is finalized.
  • The system should support currency trading alongside item-for-item exchanges.

Admin Inventory Management:

  • Administrators should be able to view, modify, and manage player inventories via an admin panel.
  • Admins can add or remove items from a player's inventory as needed.
  • A log should track all administrative inventory actions for accountability.
  • Admins should be able to edit item properties (e.g., weight, stack size) directly within the system.
  • Option for admins to clear or reset inventories if needed.

Stamina & Weight System:

  • A player’s movement speed will dynamically adjust based on the total weight carried in their inventory.
  • Backpacks will reduce weight, allowing for more efficient inventory management.
