Description
I am interested in spending up to 100 dollars on this project, but I am not wholly opposed to going over if need be for exceptional quality. That being said, I also am comfortable with a functionable but ugly approach at a little less. I'll leave that up to anyone interested in taking on this job!
So, into for the NEEDS:
- I need a handful of small modifications to an existing public plugin by Hoooldini, helixrpg.
- CHARACTER SHEET - I need need a way to view a character's attributes, skills, backgrounds, and traits as an admin or even as a player. This could just be in a small window with some text, or I'd even settle for it printing them off in chat (undesired but an option nonetheless), or it could be in a fully designed character sheet which I'd be happy to compensate for any extra effort.
- STAT BUFF ITEMS - I need a consumable and equippable item that is capable of increasing a player's attribute or skill. I'd just need the one that I could then do the footwork and copy for the rest of the stats, but if you'd like to do this that also would be sick as. It would be nice to also get items capable of giving traits.
- WOUND & SHIELD REPRESENTATION - I need a way to represent a wound-based HP system within the server. I've got two specific ideas in mind, one is the budget option and the other is one I'm comfortable spending additional money on.
- ITEM REPRESENTATION - A simple item titled "Wound" (or "Shield") which has visible toggle states, (think the little green square on the radio) and declares a message into the local chat on a fairly long range that the character either recovered or lost/spent a wound (or shield) point. These would be organized into a container item maximized at 10 slots. Some quality of life things for this would maybe have it only be activatable in the container (if that's possible.) This is honestly my preferred method due to its relative simplicity.
- SHEET REPRESENTATION - This option is the more challenging, and thus I'd be paying more for it. It would be really nice to incorporate this into the character sheet mechanic mentioned above as rows of check boxes. Any interested developers are welcome to inquire about this option because it might be something we'd have to work out.
- BACKGROUNDS AND TRAITS REWORK - I need to rename these two to LINEAGE and FEATS respectively, and for FEATS to have the ability to give bonuses to a character's attributes and skills.
- INVENTORY VIEWER - A simple inventory viewer command for admins. I'd pay extra extra if this was also included on the character sheet mechanic.
And now, for the WANTS (optional):
- I'd absolutely love an 'item shop' panel on character creation that allows the player to spend their starting money on starting equipment. This MUST be compatible with the helixrpg screens.
- A slight change to the helixrpg plugin command '/rollstat' to allow the input of a secondary skill or attribute bonus to be applied to the roll.
- ex. (Playername has rolled 23 ( 5 + 7 ) on their Dexterity and Marksmanship roll.)
- A more sci-fi, star-wars like UI retrofit would be killer. I'd be willing to talk to anyone interested in that.
- The ability to right click on a player's icon in the scoreboard and run a server command on them would be excellent but is certainly only a nice-to-have.
There might be a few more itty bitty things I need but I'm incredibly stoned right now, please don't kill me :(
A few preferences for devs:
- Please be somewhat fluent in english!
- Someone with experience in tabletop rpgs and the way they work.
- Knowledge of the HELIX schema!!!!!
