Job Widget

The job widget features a smart and elegant design that shows the most relevant information while also providing great functionality. By clicking on the gray background area, you are navigated to the job detail page where you can learn more about the job. Clicking on the blue part of the widget will instead directly send a request to become the job providing efficiency in cases where you just want to become the job directly. All these functionalities are also described with a short text in the blue button area. To quickly add a job to your favorites, you can simply click the playermodel circle to the left.

Widget Carousel

The Widget Carousel provides an elegant and efficient way to present a lot of information in a reasonable amount of space. EdgeF4 uses the widget carousel on the job details page to display the job information and its weapons. It can be navigated by simply scrolling through the items or by clicking on its right or left side.

Marketplace Category

The marketplace category widget features a smart and elegant way of browsing the marketplace categories. In its idle state, it will elegantly show the category name and its icon. Once hovered by the cursor, the widget reveals 3 simple statistics showing the number of items in stock, available items, and favorited items. For ease of use, you can hover your cursor above each statistic to show more information about it.

Smart Scroll

EdgeF4 provides an innovative way of scrolling by making use of a new type of scrolling in some of its interfaces. The interface allows you to scroll through the whole page by never moving your cursor into a new scroll area and intelligently applies the scrolling to the most relevant element of the interface.

Model Selector

The EdgeF4 model selector allows your players to change their playermodel mid-game with the configuration option to make it update directly or after respawn. It can be found on the character page and on the job detail page.

Dashboard Page

The dashboard page comes with a separate job list for your favorite and recent jobs which gives them quick and efficient access. It also provides a player list that either can show your online server staff or online friends. The player list comes with the functionality to ping (poke) your friends once every 5 minutes which also can be configured through the ingame configuration. The bottom section shows relevant statistics about your server, such as online players, total money, and online staff.

Character Page

The character page provides all information necessary about your character. At the top left, you are presented by the model selector which easily allows you to change your playermodel. To the right are the character fields that hold information about your character name, job title, wallet, and salary. Scrolling down you have the job list which elegantly renders all jobs in their respective categories.

Job Details Page

Each job also has its own detailed jobs page featuring an HTML-based description, allowing things such as decorative texts, buttons, lists, images, and more. At the bottom section, you will be able to browse relevant information about the job along with its included weaponry. To the right is the model selector that allows you to select your playermodel before becoming the job. The buttons at the bottom dynamically change appearance depending on the job.

Marketplace Page

Moving over to the marketplace page, you will be able to browse all 6 DarkRP market categories. EdgeF4 automatically detects what menus to show and arranges them in the best way possible. Hovering over each category will show relevant statistics about the category.

Market Category Page

Opening a marketplace category will navigate you to a list of its items along with the capability to show your favorite items or to perform a search for your desired item. EdgeF4 will also show the most relevant information about each type of item. Such as the number of entities currently owned or the effectiveness of each food item. Hovering over the item, you are presented with information such as why the item cannot be purchased or the price and quantity that you may purchase.

Laws Page

The city laws page will show your DarkRP city laws with buttons for the Mayor to quickly make changes to the laws. The mayor may even save the laws locally to avoid having to retype them after each game session. The laws also feature an advanced search system that marks your result and allows you to navigate them.

Rules Page

The server rules page allows you to easily show your server rules while also featuring simple to use formatting options. You can also configure EdgeF4 to show the rules page as a MOTD when a player joins your server. The rules also feature an advanced search system that marks your result and allows you to navigate them.

Shortcuts Page

The shortcuts tab will give you quick and efficient access to useful links and commands. Here your players will also be able to easily access your Discord server, Steam group, and website.

Installation Instructions

1. Purchase the script from Gmodstore.
2. Download the script and unzip the file using for example WinRAR.
3. Place the edgef4 folder in your addons folder.
4. Restart your server

Configuration Instructions (Optional)

1. Connect to your server.
2. Type !edgef4_config in your chat.
3. Go through the configuration options and set them to your liking.
4. Press the exit button in the bottom left.
5. Select Save Changes.

Configuration Explanation

• [Global Settings] Here you can set the global settings for the addon that will apply to all players.
• [Usergroups Settings] Here you can choose what access each usergroup/rank should have.
• [Team Settings] Here you can hide certain teams and set which order they should appear in.
• [Hidden Teams] The teams that you add to this list won't appear in the F4 menu.
• [Team Order] The order that you give the teams here is the order they will appear in the F4 menu.
