Cyrus runs off a mysql database yes. Typically if you have a VDS, website, or dedicated server, you'll have access to create or utilize a mysql database.
Okay Richard. I will buy this Leaderboard soon. But the thing is, do i need a MySQL web database?

Yep! I will probably be purchasing this script soon then. My only other suggestion is that you add more specific categories. I.E., most kills with specific weapons, headshot kills, etc.

Ah, thanks for the reply earlier. I merely misunderstood the text in the description. Also I support Covey's suggestion, preferably with config options to display all time kills/current map kills/current round kills (for gamemodes like TTT) to be determined by the purchaser of the script. :)
Spoke to Phoenix since he's played the gamemode and seen the code and said it should. If you do purchase and encounter any issues (if so, they should be very minimal. Just tell me and I'll go in and correct them same-day. But I don't see why not because Cyrus is on its own code with standard garry's mod hooks (such as PlayerDeath. I'd say there's a 95% likelihood of it working out of the box with zero issue.

Typically with PVPing, most servers just want to use actual guns, aka Customizable weapons, guns like RPG are excluded, god mode is excluded, and I'm working on a system right now for Noclip. Unfortunately there's only so much that can be done, but Phoenix and I are working on eliminating as much of the "cheat killing" that we can.

I had posted a job here on SF earlier and was advised to leave it as a suggestion for this script. After looking at this, I think it'd be a nice feature.. the job was to have the players total kills show in the top left corner of the screen (at all times). Possibly have a small logo/icon or something along with it to make it look nice. Don't know if it should be "all-time" kills or just "current session" kills, but I think it'd be a great fit for this. Anyways, just an idea. And this script looks great, gonna buy it right now. GLWS!
It's not a separate addon when I'm finished. It's still the same product. I just wanted people to be notified that if they purchase and/or download. They may need to reinstall again shortly.
It's looking good, but my question is why are you releasing it as a separate addon when you finish this big update you're working on? Why not just update this one?

I just released an update. Along with being able to customize ranks. If you want ranks COMPLETELY gone. There is a config file option now. Simply set Cyrus.RanksEnabled to false and ranks will be completely removed from the system.
Yes. The ranks are customizable within the config. You can have a few, or more than what's in there. You can change each name.
