Animations

Status Bar

The bars and percentage indicating how much health, armor, or hunger you have will become visible once they are no longer full. They can also easily be configured to be visible at all times.

Player Overhead

The colored health bar in the box will become visible once the player receives damage. If the health becomes 10% or less, the box will start blinking red.

Lower Right Widgets

The widgets in the lower right of your screen will change depending on what you are currently doing to make sure that unnecessary elements are not rendered.

NOTE: Vehicle Health and Fuel requires VCMod installed on your server. Gang name requires MGangs2 installed on your server.

NOTE: Damage indicators, vehicle health, and fuel require VCMod installed on your server. Vehicle effects like smoke and lighting also require VCMod.

When inside a vehicle you will see the vehicle speed, health, and fuel in the lower right part of the screen. You will also be able to see 4 different damage indicators in the lower middle part of your screen telling you what’s wrong with your vehicle.

Crash Screen

In case of a player losing the connection with the server, the player will be shown an information screen telling the player that the connection was lost. The player then has the option to leave, manually reconnect, or to be automatically reconnected after 30 seconds.

Door Display

Doors will have a 3D2D text rendered on them showing information such as their door title, owner, etc.

Door Menu

The door menu has been redesigned to replace the very basic one that comes with DarkRP.

Vehicle Display:

Vehicles will display their name/vehicle title, owner, and locked status when you are looking at them.

Battery Notifications

Laptop users will be shown a notification in the middle of their screen when their battery drops below a set limit. This will prevent them from being unexpectedly disconnected from your server.

Installation Instructions

1. Purchase the script from Gmodstore.
2. Download the script and unzip the file using for example WinRAR.
3. Place the edgehud folder in your addons folder.
4. Restart your server

Configuration Instructions (Optional)

1. Connect to your server.
2. Type !edgehud_config in your chat.
3. Go through the configuration options and set them to your liking.
4. Press the cross in the top right.
5. Select Save Changes.

Door Offset Editor Instructions (Optional)

1. Connect to your server.
2. Look at the door that you want to modify.
3. Open your game console.
4. Type edgehud_dooroffset into the console.
5. Move the sliders in the new window and set the values as you like.
6. Press the cross in the top right window and select save changes.

Currently available configuration options

• What language should be used for the parts that are visible to the user.
• What usergroups should be allowed to access this configuration menu.
• Should the top left of the HUD be enabled. To show wallet, salary and vote widgets.
