@Obitus: JBlacklist does currently not use any type of DRM.
Regards, Jompe.

Wait, does JBlacklist V2 use a DRM?

For anyone that has experienced errors when checking out with Paypal, this should now be fixed.
Regards, Jompe.

At last!

JBlacklist 2.0 has been released! It has a lot of new exciting features. Be sure to check it out!

@Gordon301: Yea. Sorry for not replying. I would like to keep the JBlacklist 2.0 testing program for communities only. However, the public release shouldn't be too far away!
Kind Regards, Jompe.

Hey Jompe, Still haven't gotten a reply after submitting an application, is it safe to assume that it was denied?

Make an application and I’ll take a closer look. (Link in script description)
Kind Regards, Jompe.

Excellent! Thanks for the reply!
Whilst I don't a production server as of right now, I do have a development server. I'd still love to be able to test out 2.0 and report back with any bugs I find, let me know if that would be at all possible!
Regards, Gordon.

Of course! Last time working on it was half an hour ago!
I want it to be as good as possible and at the same time I have a personal life with school, etc. I’m doing my best to get it finished as soon as possible.
I’m actually getting pretty close to being finished. I just have some code cleaning, testing, etc, and then I’ll let some servers test the addon for 1-2 weeks to make sure you get a stable addon.
Just ask if you have anymore questions!
Kind Regards, Jompe.

2.0 that will be finished soon.... 2 months ago? Is 2.0 still going ahead?? Hope so!

Any chance you can lower the price a bit? I got like 6,34€ and the addons costs 6,35€ So it's just depending on 1 cent to me xD Any chance? :D

@Mipastu: Also, regarding people logging off to come back a few hours when their blacklist has expired. Maybe issuing longer blacklists would be a solution to your problem.
Kind Regards, Jompe.

@Mipastu: Right now I'm focusing on finishing the 2.0 update that will be released soon. It would require pretty major changes to the script if that would be implemented.
Also, I don't think that your players would appreciate that they had to spend 4 hours of playtime playing for example DarkRP without weapons. With the current system, they have a choice to continue playing for 4 hours or come back 4 hours later. It kinda works like a ban but doesn't remove all their access and it gives them a choice to stay playing but while being restricted.
Kind Regards, Jompe.

Could you make this so that the time would be ingame time. Blacklisting someone for couple hours have no effect if he disconnects and just comes back after bl.
IF time would be ingame, they would have to be in their punishment

@#Attache: It's in the works. If everything goes well SQLite should be implemented in the next update. MySQL has been implemented successfully and will most likely be in the next update!
I'm not 100% sure when the update will be released. I'm dealing with school and other stuff but I'm working as hard as I can to get the 2.0 update finished.
Kind Regards, Jompe.

Does it still use txt files as data storage or has it aquired sqlite support?

I'm not very familiar with WUMA. But from looking and reading about it on the Facepunch page it looks like a more permanent way of customizing your server.
JBlacklist is a more temporary way of restricting certain players due to for example rulebreakage. jBlacklist also offers a much easier UI and many other extra features such as more blacklist-types, language support, statistics, adding multiple limits at once and more.
I'm also working on version 2.0 that will be released as a free update for jBlacklist. The update will for example include MySQL support, even more improved UI, ingame config, more blacklist-types, most likely blacklist management through commands and a lot more stuff that I haven't mentioned here.
If you have anymore questions be sure to contact me or post a comment here. Kind regards, Jompe.

Fairly sure you can do all this with WUMA. Or can you not, haven't used it in a while.

@Yuno Gasai: The NLR blacklist means that you won't be able to spawn for a set amount of time while having an NLR blacklist. It does not require any 3rd party NLR system.

@Yuno Gasai: I'm glad that you are interested in using jBlacklist as your warning system.
Even that jBlacklist is a blacklisting system it would be a great choice for a warning system. This is due it's ease to replace translations and then being able to customize the text on most of the UI. You can also choose to remove all of the premade blacklists and replace them with a "blacklist" called warning or similar. An idea would also be to create multiple warning types.
The statistics that exist at the moment are right now the statistics that is showed in the picture of the statistics page.
You can also manage each player and get more in-depth information about all their blacklists. Information such as when the blacklist was given, who gave it, etc (You can see the picture of the management page).
In the upcoming update you will also be able to see some per-player statistics. Such as what their most common blacklist is and how many blacklists they have in total.
Kind Regards, Jompe.
