Portals

An addon which adds portals to GMod. There are 2 types of portals: permanent and home portals. These first ones can be placed by admins and saved and these second ones can be placed by players if they specified their homes before. Of course you can shoot and throw props through portals.

Installation

Installation is very simple. You just have to put extracted folder into addons, and restart the server. Then just configure portals_config.lua and add the portal scroll entity into additems.lua in darkrp config (the code is in config file).

You also need to put models and materials folder into your FastDL server (if you have one).

Usage

If you're a player, you have to buy a portal scroll and use it ('e' key). You'll get a portal scroll weapon. Then you have to set home position by clicking right mouse button. Finally you can go somewhere and open the portal to home :D

If you're an admin and you want to create a permanent portal, you have to get Portal Admin SWEP. It's under Others tab in weapons. Then you have to place portals by clicking left mouse button. After that, you can drag portals and place them where you want. By clicking right mouse button while looking at the portal, a menu appears and you can set color, rotation and remove the portal. You can also bring a portal to yourself by entering following command into the console "portal_bring ID" (ID can be found in the edit menu).

Rembember: after changing the position of a portal, you need to open edit menu and click "Apply" button.
