The Perfect Radar System [English & French speed cameras, Speedgun]

The Perfect Radar System allows cops to generate income by equipping them with the latest in speed enforcement. Cops are issued with a standard speed gun which allows them to track speeding vehicles, which will automatically issue them with a speeding fine! Server owners can also place speed cameras as entities to help control the sheer vast size of most DarkRP maps. In addition to this, server owners can also customise the individual speed limits, speeding fine and radar type (United Kingdom or French), for each camera. This allows for unlimited potential and full customisability!

The addon comes with a lot of features. The whole config file is properly commented.

The addon works with:

• DarkRP
• No system at all (all the paid parts become free on the addon)

Cop role

You can equip your speed gun and wait for any speeding citizens to come by. Once located, simple aim your speed gun at their car and wait for a second for the tracker to work. If they are exceeding the specified speed limit, they will automatically be issued with a fine and you receive the money!

Configuration

➡ Select MPH/KMH system, fine price, maximum speed considered as excessive

➡ Choose fine settings: fine taken from owner or driver of the vehicle, increase of fine price by speeding, if the fine is automatically paid or should be paid through a NPC

➡ Decide on how to make RP profit: make the separation of the money received divided by cops, or for the cop who has taken someone

➡ Compatible with

• Billy's Logs (bLogs) [Logging system] by Billy to have logs about who have been caught by who, where, which speed and all the logs you need!
• Driver License System by ToBadForYou to be able to add/remove points from the license when being caught by a camera!

Arguments:

caughtply: player (driver or vehicle's owner) - always valid [Type: Entity: Player]

ply: player who caught the caughtply - only valid if he has been taken through a speedgun! [Type: Entity: PLayer]

entity: camera who caught the caughtply - only valid if he has been taken through cameras below! [Type: Entity (values below)]

veh: vehicle driven/owned by caughtply - always valid [Type: Entity]

speed: speed the caughtply has been taken on [Type: number]

speedlim: speedlimit [Type: number]

realfineprice: fine price the caughtply should pay [Type: number]

finebudget: fine price the caughtply paid [Type: number]

if realfineprice == finebudget then the fine has entirely been paid else it is not!

Potential values for the entity argument:

english_speed_camera : English classical speed camera

french_speed_camera : French classical speed camera

discriminating_camera : Discriminating camera (different speeds between trucks & vehs)

average_camera_end : Average camera (speed above average)

stop_camera : Stop camera so you didn't give the priority

pedestrian_camera : Pedestrian camera so there was a civilian and you didn't stop your vehicle

car_camera : Car camera fixed on a vehicle

You can't be taken with the "educational_camera" since the function is never launched with this kind of radar, as well as "average_camera_begin" since the speed is calculated with the average end.

The speed value, as the speedlim one, is at 0 when you're caught by a stop_camera or pedestrian_camera.
