In regards to your first comment, this is not right. If I remember correctly, you require the permission "superadmin" or depending what gamemode you are running, change it in the config.

Your second comment is a bit, confusing and un-researched. I am 90% positive ULX and Fadmin have the same issue you have said.

Also could you confirm if the account you have commented on(Quangasaurusrex) is the account you bough serverguard on. If not could you tell me the account you did buy serverguard on.

another note: I cant spectate, well I can, just not the serverguard way, when i spectate its basically a cloaked noclip but my character is still there. (When SG spectate worked, the player you spectated could see your flashlight if you turned it on and off)

You cant set any of the values in the rank permissions/restrictions to 0. I don't like the idea of users spawning in NPCS while higher staff cant for laughs and whatnot.

@Adam, You can use !pm to private message players, but there is no specific !warn command at the moment.

Is it possible to warn a player ? (for the moderator)

I bought serverguard awhile ago and now i'm reinstalling my server, but I do not see it in my purchased scripts list to download again. What can I do to fix this?

When running the serverguard_importulx command I get this in console "Importing bans...

@Sirius, This guide should help you: https://github.com/ThrivingVentures/ServerGuard/wiki/User-Guide . Make sure that you're using the server console (RCON) when typing 'serverguard_setowner Sirius' rather than your personal console.

As you see it doesn't allow me, the founder, to add myself or other groups to have this permission. So I was wondering if ServerGuard is blocking me to give permissions like that?

I consider switching from ulx to Serverguard, but there are some options in ulx that I can't find in Serverguard, the most important is !model command to set player's model, I'm using it for big events, does Serverguard has alternative?

@riseofthedaedera; Maps are found by their prefixes and prefixes are gathered from your gamemodes. Any prefixes that aren't set to a gamemode are placed in the "Uncategorized" category.

Would appreciate if you can add the "other" category for maps. It only shows sandbox (gm_), roleplay (rp_) and source maps. There is many maps under the other category but aren't listed and forces people to resort back to !changemap for them. Thanks.

@XεExσtic, I'm afraid I would be guessing what you're curious about if I tried to answer your question. Could you perhaps expand a bit on it?

@Squirrel with Armor and Axe, I'm not all too inclined to criticise other admin mods, but I can certainly make the case for ServerGuard itself. Personally, I think ServerGuard brings about a distinctively clean, concise and effective approach to administration. We've looked at what sort of features really are key in advancing a server and achieving success. By continually applying that process, we've made sure our mod doesn't contain unnecessary and slightly immature content that could make it too bloated and messy. Aside from having the essential features, we challenge ourselves to include more innovative ones that are highly creative - yet in the same clearly professional category as the essentials.

In the end of the day, you have to make a decision for your server, but there's no doubt in my mind that I would go for ServerGuard as a server owner every time. I'm fully aware of all the oftentimes steep expenses a server owner has to cover, but those 12.99 aren't much if you can provide your staff team with something that makes every day of their critical work more convenient and effective. As a server owner, I'm sure you know the immense value in proper administration and management - anything that can enhance that value gives you a significant advantage. If you're about to heavily develop your DarkRP server, it's perhaps a good opportunity to use ServerGuard. You could possibly use the development period to integrate certain things with it and ensure full compatibility.

Why would I buy this over ULX. Sell it to me. I'm interested to see if this would be worth switching to before heavy development begins on my DarkRP server.
