Introducing the SpawnPointManager (SPM)

A System with a tool designed to simplify the process of adding and managing spawn points for DarkRP, Helix, Nutscript jobs and default Spawns for Sandbox. User-friendliness is at the heart of this system. With just a few clicks, you can easily add and see spawn points directly on the map using an intuitive tool.

The SPM menu provides an overview of all existing spawn points, enabling you to teleport to, delete, or duplicate them.

The system's logic is optimized to reduce server load by saving spawn points in the data and loading them temporarily only when needed, rather than maintaining them as permanent entities like traditional spawn systems. This approach also allows quick setup of multiple spawn points without the need for placing and configuring individual entities.


By utilizing the "PlayerSelectSpawn" hook, SPM ensures that spawn points are determined before spawning, making it compatible with other player spawn-related systems, like defibrillators from medic mods.

Drawing from years of experience in server management, I've designed this system to meet the needs of server operators.

My motivation in developing the SPM was to create a solution that fixes the frustrating limitations of traditional spawn systems, delivering the best possible experience for users.

1. Download the addon from Gmodstore

2. Extract the addon and place it inside the addons folder

3. If you want to set a language other than English, navigate to "spawnpointmanager/lua/spawnpointmanager/config.lua" & set your desired language

4. (Re)start your server

- The system recognizes the game mode, no further action is necessary -

> Ingame: Equip a Toolgun, and select the "SpawnPointManager" tool in the tool menu
