User biography

My name is Aleksandrs (Alex), and I am a 22-year-old experienced Lua developer. I began my development journey in 2016 with Garry's Mod.

PRIMARY JOB

I am the Lead Lua Developer for one of the largest russian-speaking gmod projects called UnionTeam (600+ daily players). At this position I have managed to create many custom projects, including fully large-scale unique & optimized gamemodes written entirely from scratch such as SCP-RP & JvS as a solo programmer. I am stress-resistant and quickly adapt, since I have to develop and maintain servers with different development envinronments because of the different server themes and frameworks. In addition to custom gamemodes, here are a few accomplishments I am the most proud of:

Optimized & convenient logging system - a system designed for efficiency and ease of use, ensuring smooth operations and easy access to important logs.
Optimized Prop Protection - this one manage to seriously save the network traffic under heavy prop load and load faster on the server by the custom prop transmit on join.
Virus Production - a high-detailed addon to produce viruses and infect people with.
Lightsaber System - old alpha preview.

Freelance Work & Community Contributions

I have been on freelance market for about 1 year and have successfully completed a variety of commissions related to Garry's Mod. My work has earned me 35+ positive reviews on GmodStore. I have worked on various projects and collaborated with different teams, including major ones like Monolith Servers.
